Raytracing

Daniel Pohl, working at Intel as a Research Scientist currently works on Raytracing. I guess you have heard of this technology. If not, here is a big explanation of the technology that will bring graphics to a next level.

Daniel gave an update about his work at the Games Developer Conference 2008. An interview with him is now available at PC Games Hardware.

At GDC, Daniel showed off an UMPC with Raytracing. You can read more about this at the Intel Blog in a post from Jeffrey Howard. The technology is really impressive especially that it now even runs on a pocket PC…
